Momo

Momo is our very bad cat, and the third member of our family. We love him, but living with him isn't always easy. I'm not sure if he needs a friend or two, people who better understand what he wants, or just more space for running around, but either way, he's ours and he's stuck with us!

Checking to see if I'm up yet. 12/12/12
He likes: playing tag, showing off his tummy (but scratches anyone who can't resist touching it), chasing anything that moves, running water, his food, coffee and cranberry juice (don't leave them unattended at our house), and sleeping on top of me.

He dislikes: traffic on the road, crop dusting planes, vacuums (and any time the door to the closet with the vacuum is open), my brother, his crate (it's for medium sized dogs), being on a diet, and having his claws trimmed (we've more or less given up on that one).

He is allowed to use as much of the bed as he wants
He seems to think basting time is all about him...
We don't know what kind of cat he is - though we have our guesses.

He's also convinced every measuring tape is a toy

We do play with him regularly - even if most of these photos make it look like he's got to resort to being on top of a current project to get attention.

But ultimately, we do just adore him. Trouble maker as he can be, he completes our little family and we wouldn't have it any other way!

An update from a few years later:
Oh how life has changed for this poor, spoiled cat!

Baby and cat did not get off to a good start -- between screaming and eventual mobility, it just never worked during waking hours -- and things have not improved. So, Momo spends all daylight hours hiding, and all night hours attempting to get attention. The now-toddler screams with delight any time he finds Momo and, worse, absolutely delights in being hissed at. So, not much chance of improvement there any time soon... Poor Momo.
